Brackett Orchards is thought to be the oldest family owned and operated orchard in Maine. The original descendants settled in Limington, Maine in 1783, and soon as the land was cleared, apple trees were planted on a few acres. Manley Brackett is the eighth generation of Bracketts who still farm the land growing apples and many varieties of pumpkins, squash and high bush blueberries. On 50 acres of farmland, nine varieties of apples are grown, including the new and great tasting Honeycrisp. We offer pick your own blueberries in mid summer. In the Fall, bring the family and pick your own apples while you experience the tranquility and scenic beauty of our hilltop orchard. We offer rides on our orchard train, hot mulled cider, doughnuts and pumpkins to buy. The farm store is open from mid-August through Spring, 7 days a week with hours from 8-5. In the Fall, it is well stocked with many apple varieties, pumpkins, squash, cider, potatoes, honey, jams and local maple syrup. We look forward to having your family visit our family at Brackett Orchards!
