I got my start farming when I was nineteen. I was an apprentice on a mixed animal and vegetable farm in north Virginia. After three more farm apprenticeship jobs in central Virginia, Vermont, and Maine I took over the management at a farm in Bentwood N.H. I spent four years there before moving on to opening up Dogrose Farm in 2016. We are currently a three acre mixed vegetable farm as well as producing Hogs and turkeys. Our commercial operation consists of a 30 person CSA, Portsmouth and Dover farmers markets, as well as providing to many local restaurants.Agricultural Practices
