Small, in town garden filled with many varieties of vegetables, flowers and some fruit. Grew up in the Hudson River Valley in upstate NY surrounded by dairy and fruit farms and lived for three years at Camphill Village surrounded by Biodynamic gardens. Martha's Garden gently slopes and incorporates a rock garden nearly smack in the middle. Use of companion planting with herbs, mixed veggies and flowers such as calendula make it a lovely feast for the eyes. Many perrenials grow mostly by the wooden fence but also find homes in other nooks in the garden. Beauty, peacefulness and a sense of wonder and awe can be experienced.
