Tibbetts Farm is a small diversified farm located in Lyman Maine. We have two retail locations that sell a variety of local products. Our Lyman location or "home base" is also a greenhouse center, in which we grow and sell veggie and flower seedlings. We also produce our own Barnyard Blend Compost mix, which we sell in bulk bins along with loam and dark bark mulch. At this and our Sanford location we offer veggies in season from June-October. We have been farming since 1985 and have diversified as time has gone on. We raise our own chickens, pigs and cows for the farm stand as well. We grow our own grain corn, and know exactly what goes in to feeding those animals. We then are able to sell naturally raised, hormone free pork, beef and eggs.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Our CSA is an non-traditional version of a CSA! We call it a TFA, the Tibbetts Flex Account- and the flex stands for FLEXIBILITY! Instead of a weekly box of veggies with a set pick up time, we offer "tiered" TFA cards, where a patron can purchase a certain amount of veggies from us throughout the summer, and decide when and at what location they wish to pick them up. NO STRINGS attached! The TFA can be used for anything from spring seedlings to fall storage vegetables. The "account" is a true community supported agriculture model because we give you a "bump" for each year you purchase from us. The first year, a $100 TFA will get $110 - the next year, another $5 bump! The bigger your TFA the bigger your bump!
