The NH Seacoast and Southern Maine are home to 17 summer farmers' markets and 5 winter farmers' markets. At these markets, you can buy fruits and vegetables, meats, dairy and more directly from the farmers who grew the food. We have live music, free kids activities, and visiting farm animals every month. We also have special events scheduled for each month. October includes an Artisan Fair and Mini-Octoberfest with extended hours (9-2pm).
The hope of the Church Street Farmers Market is to bring back the days of the ‘village green’ where the community gathered together. We want to be a part of fostering strong relationships with our local farmers, artisans, and our community.

We are excited to announce our new location at Guppey Park in the softball field parking lot at 110 Portland Ave. In partnership with the City of Dover Recreation Department, our goal is to have more crossover with existing city programs to make the market more widely accessible. Enjoy a swim at the neighboring Jenny Thompson Outdoor Pool and stop by the farmers’ market on your way home.
The Durham Farmers’ Market takes place in a revitalized mini-park right off of Main Street. Located atop a small hill, this market overlooks downtown Durham with a 360 degree view of the area including the UNH campus. Whether you’re on campus or in town this market is a great way to spend part of your Monday afternoon. Take a ride to visit the market and surrounding local businesses. Live music, special guests, and shady areas for picnicking. Animals are welcome at this market!
The Exeter Farmers’ Market takes place at the beautiful Swasey Parkway along the Squamscott River. Take a walk up the shaded parkway and stop at all your favorite vendor booths on the way back. Kids and families love this location with numerous grassy areas to have a picnic and enjoy the live music with the river in the background. You might even see the Philips Exeter Academy Crew Team rowing in the background! Downtown shops are conveniently located adjacent to the market to make it your one-stop shopping experience every Thursday afternoon. Please note only service animals are allowed.

The Kennebunk Farmers' Market is a producer-only, rain or shine market located in the Garden Street Parking Lot from May to November. Vendors at this market are frequently passionate home cooks with many tips on how to cook the various foods they are selling at the market!

The Portsmouth Farmers’ Market takes place in the City Hall parking lot overlooking the South Mill Pond. Up on a hill and close the the ocean this market usually has a consistent and comfortable breeze, even on the hottest summer days. Wake up and stroll or bike to the market as a part of your weekend routine or stop by if you’re visiting the area. There is also a great playground for kids right across the street! This is the largest of our four summer markets and has an expansive variety of farms, prepared foods, and craft vendors. Live music, picnic tables, special guests, and market events like the Portsmouth Pumpkin Smash and Eco Day all make this a bustling market! The Sanford Farmers' Market happens on Saturdays in Central Park from May through November. The goal of the market is to connect food producers, growers and consumers, to encourage people to grow more of their own food, and to provide an outlet for local small-scale food growers, artisan food producers, local artisans and community members. Additionally, it is the purpose of the Sanford Farmers’ Market to provide a community gathering space for residents and visitors to Sanford. ?

The Wells Farmers' Market is a producer only market located on Post Road that offers a wide selection of local foods and goods. The market is conveniently located at the Library right off Route 1, from June 14th - September 27th, and is held every Wednesday from 1:30PM-5PM.

The Rollinsford Farmers’ Market takes place in the beautiful Wentworth Greenhouses. This market has been one of our most recognizable and one of the biggest markets in the Seacoast since 2010. Enjoy the warm air of the greenhouse and browse a wide variety of houseplants during the cold winter months before entering the market area. Once you step into the farmers’ market area you’ll be amazed at the variety of locally grown and produced food. Enjoy a warm breakfast or coffee while shopping. You’ll hear some wonderful live music from local musicians while you’re here.

The Stratham Farmers’ Market takes place just over the Exeter town line at Cooperative Middle School. This market provides an accessible, warm, and brightly lit market during some of the darkest months of the year. Just two miles off route 101, this market is easy to get to from all locations.
